.dc bloggers get madewell::

last night was the january capfabb meetup...can i say this was my fave one attended thus far! aside from being hosted at the new madewell in georgetown ("g-town")...which, can you believe i have never been in before??!? crazyness i know. 

upstairs was a-buzz with fashion chatter as usual...i love the fact that we don't need a reason to get together. you know how you want to get together with all your friends, the ones you shop with, the ones you went to school with,the ones you drink with, the ones you watch sports with, the ones you work with, the ones you call when no one else wants to hang out with you...but you cancel it at the last minute because you start thinking -what do all these people have in common...no?, well this is the opposite of that feeling...

the meetup is where we can swoon over each other, drink champagne, which i missed out on {insert sad smirk} & flick pics til the cows come home! below is how the hauteness went down...

i learn something new every meet-up, this time i learned that having a media-kit can assist in being invited to shows at fashion week & i spoke candidly with carlis of spicy candy dc about alil thing we like to call "extreme blogging" - wouldn't want readers to get bored, right??...i am going to work on this...
