{*blogger confessions is a series that d.c. bloggers are participating in to capture portions of our lives that we don't normally highlight for you in our blogs everyday. this time the theme is: relationships.}

risque to admit huh? but i don't. not relationship wise anyway. status: single. looking: ehh, maybe. if the opportunity presents itself, dressed sharply in a tailored suit, holding the door open for me one morning at starbucks...

that is, i am not currently seeking a relationship. there is some unwritten rule that single women must constantly be on the prowl for a man....i don't think so. i think that if it's right, than it's right. & that it will happen, when it will. but i most certainly don't plan on setting up camp to force loves hand.

i am not a supporter/celebrator of valentines day. not because i am a relationship hating, biter 'ol single gal. but for religious reasons, & bible proof that valentines day is a distraction from more important things. 

so don't feel bad for me. i will not be receiving flowers, candies, love notes & getting picked up for dates this week. instead, i will be doing all the things i regularly do each day....& here's the kicker....loving. every. minute. of. it.


although, because i don't have a l.o.v.e, does not mean i am void of it. my family & friends fill that space. not to mention all the {#bloggerlove} i have been receiving as of late. & if all else fails, it's nothing a quick log on to asos.com can't fix!

i am happy for those that l.o.v.e. but i am not one of them. possibly one day, when my selfishness has trickled to its last drop & my heart makes room for more. but for now, i am happy being single. 

& not ashamed to admit it.
